About Us

Myanmar Impact Partners has been established to develop projects which can no longer be sponsored by development bodies.

 

Our team has a long track record in Myanmar which has included developing high impact reforms that continue to underpin responsible investment and navigating Myanmar’s complexities to help implement nation building investments in  many sectors.

 

We have combined to leverage our expertise, networks, stakeholder awareness and independence to develop high impact, economically viable projects that will benefit Myanmar’s people at this time of greatest need.

 

Initial Project: Restoring Myanmar’s Microfinance Sector

Our principal project under development aims to put Myanmar’s DFI-backed microfinance institutions back on a sustainable financial footing. We want to enable them to resume lending to the millions of vulnerable borrowers who desperately need access to finance.
